Adult Enrichment

What We Do

We identify faith needs within the parish and coordinate speakers and events for faith enrichment throughout the year.  we also manage the parish faith library which is available to all parishioners.

We meet monthly for about an hour, usually on weekday mornings—although we are very flexible and will work around schedules.

Our Core Team

We are a small group of about 5-6 members-all women currently. This is a group that is low-key, realistic, welcoming, laughing and open-minded. Our greatest common denominator is we love our faith and want to help our fellow parishoners with topics and encouragement in where they want to grow.

Can You Serve

We would LOVE new perspectives! We especially need to hear from: Parents with young children who are “in the weeds” and can share how best to help with topics that young parents need and how best to accomplish this given challenging schedules. We’ve been there—it isn’t easy! How can we help as a parish? You can bring kids to meetings—we have crayons and are good at blocking out extra noise.  We also would value male perspectives about what is hard about being a Catholic man today—parent, citizen and friend.

Listen and respond to new perspectives and needs of our parish, get to know more people, and be present and listen

Did You Know

We organized a Q&A with Father Matera and Deacon Art which was live streamed over the lockdown covering subjects such as loneliness, how to respond to divisive language and how to healthfully assist one another.

Most of our members partake in other ministries at St. Mary’s.

Our Call To Serve

We provide opportunities for continuing faith education among the adults in our parish.
